Isn’t there a charming old wives tale that rain on your wedding day signifies good luck? This was certainly the case for Bre and Izzy’s wedding at the enchanting Serendipity Gardens in Oak Glen, California. Despite the rain during the ceremony, the day was nothing short of beautiful and inspiring, making their wedding a perfect example of how to embrace the unexpected.

I was honored to capture the magic of their special day. The rain did not dampen their spirits; instead, it added a touch of whimsy and romance to their celebration. They were very prepared for the potential rain and had clear umbrellas for them and the guests, which honestly made for the prettiest pictures!

Their smiles never faded, even when the rain was at its heaviest. And when the evening came, the rain eased off, allowing them to have the sparkler exit they had planned. The sparkles against the night sky, coupled with the residual raindrops, made for some incredibly captivating shots.
