Nancy & Patrick have one of the most unique love stories, and we wanted that reflected in the sessions.  When they approached me with their idea, I was instantly intrigued and it turned out better than I could’ve imagined!  It perfectly encompasses their story, but to understand that, you need to know the details.

Long before Instagram and TikTok, there was MySpace, the social media platform that these two met on in High School!  They were long distance at the time with Nancy in Orange County and Patrick in the Bay Area.  They traveled to each other when they could but eventually they fell out of touch.  A while later, he looked her up on Facebook and rekindled their romance.  After a while they decided to close the distance between them by and move in together, and well.. the rest is history!

Aside from their love for each other, these two also share a love for cars and racing. .  After all, they’d gone the extra mile (pun intended) to make their relationship work, why not do the same for their engagement session? 

Nancy and Patrick rented a beautiful sports car for the day and we set out on our road trip/engagement adventure! We spent the day driving the Rim of the World Highway, a route that Nancy had traveled many times before on family vacations when she was younger, and  stopped along the scenic route at three separate locations to capture shots of the couple.  It became such a fun adventure for us all and what I’m sure will be a fond memory for these two to reflect on in the years to come!

Nancy and Patrick were fully invested in their engagement session and had a blast in the process, something that I think is very clear from the photos we snapped that day.  I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this couple.
